    Grapes & Grains Wine Tasting

    Join us on February 2, 2017 for our annual “Grapes & Grains for Grants” fundraising event at the Ames Center in Burnsville. The evening will feature wine and craft beer tasting sponsored by Red Lion Liquor, a silent auction, and hors d’oeuvres by the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe. Wineries and Breweries are yet to be determined. Ticket sales starting soon.

    Throughout the year, Foundation 191 holds fundraisers and participates in community events. Below is a list of where you can attend or volunteer. All proceeds raised from fundraising go directly to students and staff in District 191.

    Grapes & Grains for Grants – February

    Join us at The Ames Center in Burnsville for this fun event featuring wine and craft beer tasting sponsored by Red Lion Liquors, a wine wall raffle, silent auction, and hors d’ oeuvres by Mediterranean Cruise Café. Tickets sales begin in December and cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door. To purchase tickets please go to:

    Dan Patch Days – June

    The Foundation actively joins in on Dan Patch Days events during this annual summer event. Saturday morning you will find us at the start line of the Dan Patch Days 5k Pace getting runners checked in, Saturday evening we’re stationed in the ticket sales booth, and Sunday morning the Foundation is lined up for the parade. We invite past grant recipients and community volunteers to walk the parade route with us!

    Golf Tournament – September

    Join us at Crystal Lake Golf Course in Lakeville for this noon shotgun start, 18-hole best ball tournament. The tournament is capped off with a program and dinner in the clubhouse that includes some fun prizes. Ticket sales begin in July and cost is $125 per person or $500 for a 4-some, which includes golf w/cart and dinner. There is also a $20 dinner-only option.

    We ask business owners to consider being a $750 Gold Sponsor. This would allow your company 4 golfers, name on 1st tee box, recognition in our program, table tents at event, and a gift bag.

    Fire Muster Parade – September

    Once again, we jump on the float to partake in this long-standing Burnsville Fire Muster Community and Fire Truck parade each fall in Burnsville. The parade runs adjacent to the Civic Center grounds in the heart of Burnsville. We invite past grant recipients and community volunteers to walk the parade route with us!
